Suggestions to Help You Adapt to Changing Appearance
As everyone knows, among the biggest changes that gastric sleeve surgeries provide in patients are body measurements, serious changes in weight, changes in clothing style and self-confidence. These are among the changes that every gastric sleeve patient wants very much and patiently waits for the time to come. Every day of our patients, who have never remembered themselves at such low weights before, passes with a different awareness and desire to discover. While this situation is sometimes thought to be a very easy situation for our patients to adapt to, sometimes we may face alienation and non-acceptance of the body. The person is in periods of increased change after surgery,
Am I the person I see reflected in the mirror?
Am I that person in the photos taken before the surgery?
Does being a size 36 really mean that I am thin?
They may start questioning such questions.
